Manhole Covers in Shizuoka Prefecture 31: Arai Machi

Arai machi, since included into Hamamtsu City is bit of a strange place completely separated not only by the station (you have to pay 180 yen anytime you want to go to the other side) but also by a sea arm.
The interesting manhole covers lie south of the Arai Machi JR Station while the north housing the professional outboard boat races is pretty drab.

SOUTH SIDE:

The original manhole cover for Arai Machi!
I wonder what the colored one looked like!

SN3O0258

Arai Machi is really confusing as this manhole cover seems to belong to belong to neighboring Kosai City!

SN3O0257

Same for this one, too!

SN3O0254

This pressurized air manhole cover on the other hand solely belongs to Arai Machi!

SN3O0253

Same for this water valve pit!

SN3O0249

A smaller and different valve pit!

SN3O0252

Now, this valve pit definitely belongs to Kosai City!

SN3O0250

A smaller Arai Machi water valve pit!

SN3O0261

A medium-sized gas valve pit in the middle of the road!

SN3O0262

An even bigger gas valve pit still in the middle of the road! They were neighbors and I did take a risk photographing them! LOL

NORTH SIDE

SN3O0238

It is the first time I such a shape for any manhole cover! A strange air access for firemen!

SN3O0231

A very long one for “high electricity”!

SN3O0232

Probably stands for high voltage electricity!

SN3O0233

Same shape for “low electricity”!

SN3O0234

I wonder if they mean “low electricity output” instead of low voltage electricity!

SN3O0235

A sewer manhole cover by Ohtake foundry!

SN3O0237

Same but with low voltage electricity indication!

SN3O0241

A vertical marking instead of a round indication for low voltage electricity!

SN3O0239

Same but for high voltage electricity!

SN3O0240

Drainage manhole cover!

SN3O0242
