Aoi Brewing in Shizuoka City is delving deep into the brewing of brown ale, but they have to come with a different name for all their experiments, otherwise their fans will get lost!
Terra Rosa Mild Ale!
Mind you it could also be written as “Terra Roja Mild Ale”!
Served on tap
Barley, Australian Galaxy hop, Crystal Munich malt and Maris Otter malts, live yeast
Alcohol: 5.5 %
Clarity: slightly smoky (normal considering live yeast and being unfiltered), very clean
Color: dark amber, brown
Bubbles: Long head. Very fine bubbles. Creamy. Light brown
Aroma: refreshing and fruity. Bread, citruses. Very pleasant aroma
Taste: very deep, fruity, and refreshing attack.
lingers long enough on palate for true tasting before departing on a drier and somewhat acid note.
Oranges, persimmon, bread, roasted oats.
Solid. Stays faithful to first impressions all the way through.
Dry coffee beans will appear if drunk with food.
Overall: A beer for adult true craft beer lovers!
Refreshing, satisfying, a bit tarty, but really fulfilling.
A beer for all seasons!
Will very probably become a long seller although under a different name!
Careful, the alcohol tends to hit you later!
