Food and Drinks Bloggers in Japan (expanded on 2011/06/15)

The number of foreigners and Japanese nationals who write about the food and drinks in Japan in English (or at least answer comments in English) has remarkably increased lately.
I thought it was about time to start some kind of round-up to help people discover these deserving foodies and their blogs! The list below is far from exhaustive, but I’m planning to update and announce it regularly!
Of course if you know more foodies residing in Japan, do please direct them to me and I will introduce them gladly!

  1. what a great list!! Thanks for all the new reading material. We’re travelling up to Hokkaido again this summer, so it’s good to see some new sources of information there. And in a blatant effort at self-promotion, I’m wondering if my blog could be added to the recommended reading? I write about gardening, farming, and farmer’s markets here in Tokyo with a recipe thrown in now and again for good measure. (If you’re going to buy vegetables it helps to know how to cook them.)

  3. Thank you for updating your long list. So many sources of inspiration! I already feel your website makes my days too short to cook all I see and want, but I am always happy to discover new bloggers.
May I suggest also Hiroyuki’s blog? (http://hiro-shio.blogspot.com/) I am a big fan and follower! Although I have no idea in which part of Japan he lives…
