No, you are not allowed to smoke inside the toilets, but…………
Yesterday I did have to use the washroom inside Cenova Department Store in Shizuoka City when I got intrigued to see a couple coming out together out of the same door…
They did not look that happy…
Actually they had come out of one of the washrooms but out of a room reserved for smokers!

I do think that Cenova has a good idea there. Instead of providing a special space for smokers, the notionof directing them to the toilets will impress a new thinking in their heads!

Excellent association of nicotine room and “nature’s business” room…and have you ever seen a smoker look “happy” after getting their drug fix? Only on commercials. Otherwise, they just look desperate. Why would anyone load this monkey on their backs is beyond me.
I wonder, did the hall up to the washrooms stink from the smoke when the druggies exited? That has always been a design flaw, but somehow some places have conquered this problem of air flow beyond the doorways.
