Shark Bus in Shizuoka City!

I finally caught the “Shark Bus” in Shizuoka City!
I had noticed quite a few times and was really looking forward to take pics of it!

I was cycling on the pavement (it is ok in Japan!) and Had to stop at a traffic light when the bus just stopped by my side!
I just had the time to get off my bicycle and take pictures before it went away!
Some people may have wondered what this gaijin nerd was about!

Mind you all that seafood does not seem to worry about that horrible shark!

The design is actually the winning of a contest organised among primary schools in Shizuoka!

I caught this one this evening in front of Shizuoka JR Station but had only the time to take a single picture!

In this case the Prefecture/City is only advertising for the benefit of Shizuoka Tourism!

Took this picture today in front of Shizuoka JR Station!

Actually a couple of years ago Shizutetsu Line (private) had photographs of real sushi on this bus, but they switched to drawings instead. Someone must have complained about picture rights……………
